Views and values spread on the internet has caused a threat to political leaders and governments. An example of this is the extremist groups such as Al Qaeda and the Taliban. They use site such as youtube.com to publish videos expressing their views. They use shock tactics including negative images of women and children to put get their point across. This may indoctrinate some people and convert them to have similar extremist views. Furthermore; their use of social networking gives people who have similar views a sense of community. This could be seen as a threat to political leaders and governments as it unites people with similar threating views to society. This may, in turn, one day lead to a serious uprising as these people have united together and made a large threat.
