Sites such as twitter allow us to access a form of rolling/24 hour news other than the conventional news channels such as BBC News or Sky News. It also highlights a lack of censorship and privacy as it allows people to freely be interactive with one another and share their opinions, this in turn leads to the desensitization of society.
